Celina Pihl
Dr. Celina Pihl is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Catharina Lerche’s group at the Department of Dermatology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg, Denmark. She earned her M.Sc. in Molecular Biomedicine (2020) and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2024) from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Pihl has been involved in explorations of oral photoprotection, assessing the efficacy of both phytochemical compounds and repurposed pharmaceuticals. Her current research focuses on the interplay between heat stress and sun exposure to further clarify the effects of ultraviolet radiation on the human body.
