Ignacio Vayá
Dr. Ignacio Vayá is currently Associate Professor at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. He has a degree in chemistry from the University of Valencia and earned his PhD in Chemistry in the UPV. His research line is focused on the behavior of photoactive organic systems in different environments. In the last years, he has focused his research in the photophysical properties of anticancer drugs, in particular tyrosine kinase inhibitors in solution and in biological environments, in addition to investigate their potential to photoinduce damage to targeted biomolecules.
