Ana Borrego-Sánchez
Dr. Ana Borrego-Sánchez obtained her Doctorate degree from the University of Granada (Spain) in 2018 with an Outstanding qualification-Cum Laudem, International Mention and Extraordinary Prize for Doctoral Thesis. After that, she did 2 years of postdoctoral research at the Instituto Andaluz de Ciencias de la Tierra (Granada, Spain). In 2020, she was awarded with a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship funded by the European Commission to carry out 2 years and 1 month (2021-2023) of research at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Genoa, Italy). Later, she was postdoctoral researcher at the Instutito de Ciencia Molecular of the University of Valencia (Spain) for 7 months. Currently, she is postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Valencia (Spain). The main research line carried out by Dr. Ana Borrego-Sánchez corresponds to the establishment of a novel interdisciplinary approach combining experimental and computational tools for the accelerated and efficient design of novel modified drug delivery systems using low-cost materials as excipients.
