Charareh Pourzand
Charareh Pourzand holds a DSc in Cancer Biology from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and is also recognised Fellows of ‘Royal Higher Education Academy’ (FHEA) and ‘Royal Society of Biology’ (FRSB) in the United Kingdom since 2003. She currently works as a ‘Reader in Pharmaceutics’ at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Bath where she also leads the ‘Skin Photobiology Group’. At present, she also holds the positions of ‘Associate Dean’ at the Faculty of Sciences and the ‘Director of Innovation’ at the ‘Centre For Therapeutic Innovation’ of the University of Bath. Her group is internatonally recognised in the field of skin photoaging and photoprotection and she has multiple established collaborations with major global cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies. She co-chairs the international Skin@Bath Network and has several editorial roles in major journals in her field.
