Xu Wang
Xu Wang is a Principal Investigator at the Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences in China. He earned his PhD from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2014, then immediately joined Prof. Chentao Lin’s lab at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) as a postdoc, where he studies blue light receptor Cryptochromes (CRYs) in model plant Arabidopsis. He started his own lab in China in 2022. Xu’s research is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of CRYs photochemistry and CRYs-mediated regulation of photoresponsive gene expressions.
