Fabiana Quaglia

Fabiana Quaglia is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy – University of Napoli Federico II, Italy. She graduated in Pharmacy (1992), received a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (1997) and a Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy (1998) from the University of Napoli Federico II. She obtained postdoctoral training at the University of Paris-Sud, France. She was an Individual Membership Representative of EUFEPS (2005-2007) and an Interim Managing Editor of Biomedical Microdevices (2021–2022). Since 2022, she has served as an Associate Editor for Europe/Africa on Drug Delivery and Translational Research. Her primary research interests focus on developing tailored nanocarriers for combination therapies, with a particular emphasis on light-activated treatments. She has published 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals, receiving more than 6000 citations with an h-index of 47 (Scopus).
