Annette Hoskin
I am a passionate health care professional and researcher working for a large multinational in an international role based in Perth. I hold board roles on the Standards Australia Development and Accreditation Committee and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Commercial Relationships Committee. I also represent Australia for the International Standardization Organization committees relating to eye protection, sunglasses and spectacles I am passionate reducing avoidable vision loss and am widely published internationally in ocular trauma and the development of eye injury prevention strategies. I recently completed my PhD at Sydney University, for which I held a NHMRC Dora Lush Biomedical Research Postgraduate Scholarship. In addition to my role as Global Director Standardisation for EssilorLuxottica I am a Research Fellow at the Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney.
